Since becoming the first feed supplier in Canada to have a full-service feed mill FeedAssure certified (September, 1999), Landmark Feeds has continued to support FeedAssure in all of its feed mills. This is a major achievement for Landmark Feeds, and good news for the Canadian feed industry that is very clearly doing the right things for food quality and safety.

FeedAssure is a comprehensive food safety assurance program designed to manage and minimize risks during all stages of food production. In our case, the FeedAssure system involves a series of control procedures at critical points of the feed manufacturing process.

We’ve long known that our manufacturing processes reflect on the best practices available. FeedAssure recognition confirms this and allows us to communicate our safe practices to customers, suppliers and consumers. We’ll continue working to maintain the highest standards in our products and in our commitment to our customers: those who buy our feed as well as the people who consume the milk, meat and eggs produced with our feed.

GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FeedAssure protocol involve a series of processes, in our facilities and on-farm, which we as a feed manufacturer are committed to follow.
